Visitation of US Recruitment Team and Message from Mr. Tim Smith, Vice President of Global Talent BASIS Curriculum Schools Network:
Mr. Tim Smith, Vice President of Global Talent BASIS Curriculum Schools Network, and his recruiting team visited our campus this week for strategic planning meetings with Dr. W and the Academic Leadership Team.
As international schools are experiencing more movements in teaching staff since the COVID pandemic, we are taking extra care with the hiring process to ensure that we can find the best teachers for each of the BASIS schools.
“I am optimistic for this hiring seasons and BASIS Bangkok still remains in high demand within the network, receiving thousands of applications for a limited number of openings each year.” Mr. Smith noted.
Dr. W added, “The challenge is finding the candidates that are best suited to deliver the unique BASIS Curriculum. This coming year we will add additional sections in several grades. Furthermore, some teachers will conclude their contracts, so starting the hiring process early will give us ample time to choose the right candidates for our school.”

Early Years Newsletter:
Message from Director of Early Years:
Dear Families,
Welcome back to all! We are diving right into instruction and prepared all week for our educational visit from the Firefighters and fun Halloween celebrations. On Tuesday the 31st we look forward to seeing you at our Halloween Parade. This event is held in the morning 9:15-10:00 A.M. and we will carry on the rest of the day with educational and celebratory activities. Plan on your child attending a full day of school.
Please remember that if you arrive 5 or more minutes early to pick up your child at the end of the day to park and walk up to the Early Years gate. The line of cars needs to continue to move in order to keep traffic from backing up in the street. KCl families especially need to arrive no earlier than 3:05 P.M. If you have children in several classrooms then either arrive at the time of your latest dismissal or park and walk up. We appreciate your cooperation as we aim for an efficient and smooth operation.
Sincerely,
Ms. Annie Fletcher
Director of Early Years
