Announcement on 2023-2024 BASIS Parking Sticker Online Form
Dear Parents/ Guardians,
We're excited to welcome you and your child or children back on campus very soon. To kick off the smooth transition for this semester, we are kindly implementing a few protocols of the safety procedure.
Our utmost priority at BASIS International School Bangkok is providing a safe and effective learning environment and community. With this, we would like to issue the new parking stickers for all families; thus, the stickers will be used when you need to enter the campus. The stickers are significant to utilise at school that we would need to have all parents cars registered with the school.
You can fill out this form to register your car. Please provide accurate and complete details of your vehicles and attach a copy of your car registration to this form.
Kindly note that we limit stickers to a maximum of 2 per student. All stickers will be available in the second week of school.
Best regards,
Ms. Kingkarn ( Kwan) O.
Head of Operations
What a Wonderful Trip at BASIS Experience US Summer Camp from June 26th to July 14th, 2023
Dear TUSKERS Parents,
We have had three amazing weeks of learning and adventure during our first BASIS Experience US Summer Camp. Our TUSKERS explored the beautiful West Coast, immersing themselves in nature and culture, creating unforgettable memories along the way. They visited iconic landmarks like the Golden Gate Bridge, Yosemite National Park, and Alcatraz island, and had a blast exploring fascinating museums.
At the University of California, Berkeley, our students participated in a STEM Workshop that focused on crucial global issues and how STEM can make a difference. They gained a deeper understanding of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals and used this knowledge to conceptualize and build robots aimed at mitigating the impact of climate change. Through planning, designing, coding, and showcasing their creations, our students not only developed critical thinking skills but also became passionate agents of change.
Before returning to Thailand, our students embarked on an extraordinary journey from San Francisco to Seattle, immersing themselves in the wonders of nature. They marveled at the towering trees in the Redwoods National Park, experienced the surreal beauty of the Crater Lake, and got up close with the magnificent Mount St. Helens. They also had the opportunity to explore The Museum of Flight, where they encountered an incredible collection of aircraft and spacecraft.
Our TUSKERS have developed a lifelong love for learning, fueled by their outdoor exploration and discovery. This incredible experience has left them with cherished memories and invigorated enthusiasm for the upcoming academic term. Our commitment to providing exceptional experiences continues, as we strive to inspire and nurture our students beyond the classroom. After all, our TUSKERS have learned that elephants have fantastic memories, and so do they!
Best regards,
Ms.Kingkarn (Kwan) O. and Mr. Matt C., the WorldStrides Educational Travel&Experience
