Message from Mr. Toby Walker: Announcement of Tuskers Scholarship and Talented Tuskers Scholarship

Reminder: BASIS Football Festival on Saturday, May 27th 2023

Dear TUSKERS Families,

We're excited to host our first football festival in 2023 and welcome our international schools' friends to Home of TUSKERS tomorrow. The game starts at 8 o'clock promptly, we encourage the players to arrive at school before the game starts 30 mins to warm up and get a brief from a coach.

We encourage everyone to come and cheer up our U11 TUSKERS football team as community support. The food vendors will be available at the festival. We are preparing available parking lots with a capacity of more than 120 available car parks, as well as 70 available parking at the Bangkhuntian Land Department which is a 5 min walk to our school.

Congratulations: Selected Artworks for "A Night to Remember"

Congratulation to our students - Milin 6Fe , Plern 6Fe and Pang 7Ga that their artworks that have been selected to the upcoming Art Event “A Night to Remember" Charity Concert & Silent Auction organized by Bangkok Post Foundation and the Harvard Alumni Association on Saturday, June 3^rd 2023.

Tuition Invoices for Semester 1/2023-24:

Dear Tuskers Families,

The 2023-2024 Semester 1 Tuition invoices will be sent home via email on Monday, May 29^th 2023. Payment is due on Wednesday, June 21^st 2023.

Payments can be made via wire transfer or credit card. Please note: If paid by June 21st, there will be no charge for credit card payments.

Message to Kinder Families: Upcoming Grade 1 and Grade 2 Musical, OCEANS OF FUN Performance on Thursday, June 1st 2023

Dive into a journey, deep into the sea, where Oceans of Fun will teach you all you need to know.

Deep in the ocean is a wonderful world. Through song and dance we learn all about sea animals, from turtles to sharks, lobsters and bivalves too!

A colorful show, not to be missed. The grade 1 and 2 students will charm you and that is a fact.

Parents Workshop Series: Expert Talk Episode 4 " Implications of Screen Time & Social Media” on Friday, June 2nd 2023 at 08.30 – 10.00 hrs.

Dear TUSKERS Families,

We cordially invite you to attend a workshop on the "Implications of Screen Time & Social Media” hosted by Dr. Golf, this workshop aims to provide valuable insight into the effect of screen time and social screen time and social media on children’s well-being, academic performance, and overall development.

In this workshop, you will gain a deeper understanding of how excessive screen time and social media usage can affect children's physical health, mental well-being, and social interactions. We will be holding small group discussions to engage parents to share experiences, insights, and challenges related to screen time and social media use, and learn from one another's perspectives.

Updates: Donation Summary for 6Fe

"The Iron Giraffe Challenge came to a close on May 19^th with the students of 6Fe raising a total of $610 USD. These funds will go towards a well-restoration project in South Sudan, and it will greatly impact a community in need at this time. Thank you to everyone who donated, shared, viewed the video, and support 6Fe's fundraising initiative."

Grade 2 : Optional Mandarin Class Video

The students in Mandarin class learned about various occupations and their respective job duties. They gained a deeper appreciation for the immense efforts these individuals invest to improve our lives every day. As a testament to their gratitude, each student expressed their appreciation in Chinese. I invite you to join me in watching the video and giving them a well-deserved round of applause. We had an incredibly fun time creating this video together and hope you enjoy it too!

Flu Vaccine Recommendation

It’s raining season again and we have been notified by the hospital that the new strain WHO recommended vaccine has arrived.

As a precaution, school nurse office is recommending that children receive flu vaccine each season. Please make an appointment with your pediatrician.

For your convenience, Nakornthon Hospital has arranged a special price vaccine for our students and families. Please make an appointment via line @nakornthoninter

Important Reminder: School ID Badges & Lanyards

As we continue to prioritize the safety of our students and staff, we kindly remind you of the importance of wearing School ID Badge and Lanyards within campus.

Starting from Monday 22nd May 2023, please ensure that all students come to school with their school ID badges. In the event of a lost badge, please contact the school to re-issue a new one as soon as possible. Additionally, both parents and students must be wearing the correct color of school lanyard in order to be permitted to enter the campus.

We kindly ask that you wear your school ID badge and lanyard at all times while on campus, to assist us in maintaining a secure and safe environment for all.
