Your children are very important to us, and if there is anything we can do to help your child achieve greater success and satisfaction at school, please let us know. You may reach me via email at r.aquilina-finan@basis.ac.th. I am always happy to help.

Leadership Transition Update
With great excitement, we would like to share the recent completion of an important milestone in our school's leadership transition. Dr. Willem Van Der Sluis, our incoming Head of School, recently completed his weeklong intensive BASIS Induction Program at BASIS Silicon Valley and BASIS Fremont Schools in California, USA.
During the visit, Dr. Van Der Sluis met with Mr. Toby Walker, Vice President of BASIS Independent Schools, as well as the academic leadership teams at all four campuses to gain a deeper understanding of the BASIS philosophy & methodology. He had the opportunity to make classroom observations and discuss the pedagogy of Early Years, Primary, Middle, and High School in preparation for his transition to Bangkok on August 1, 2023.
“This trip was very productive and gave me a clear picture of BASIS in action,” noted Dr. Van Der Sluis. “It was an honor to have met and shared valuable time with the teams at the four schools. The parents must be so appreciative about the way their children are cared for. I look forward to continuing this great tradition in Bangkok.”
This experience helped to equip Dr. Van Der Sluis with the necssary background knowledge of BASIS, network relationships, and tools that will help him lead our school with distinction in the coming years. We look forward to welcoming him to our campus in the coming months.
Best,
BISB Management
Choir Festival
We are thrilled to share with you the resounding success of the recent Choir Festival. The event was graced by the remarkable talent of students from grade 5-8, along with a splendid performance by the ECA Choir.
The participating students showcased their incredible vocal abilities, making it a truly memorable final performance of the year. The success of the Choir Festival would not have been possible without the support of our school community.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the parents, guardians, and family members who attended the event and showed their unwavering support for our talented young performers.

Dear Parents,
We cordially invite you to attend a workshop on the "Implications of Screen Time & Social Media” hosted by Dr. Golf, this workshop aims to provide valuable insight into the effect of screen time and social screen time and social media on children’s well-being, academic performance, and overall development.

We will be holding small group discussions to engage parents to share experiences, insights, and challenges related to screen time and social media use, and learn from one another's perspectives.
We highly encourage all parents to attend this workshop, as it will equip them with valuable knowledge and tools to navigate the digital landscape and support their child’s health technology use. If you are interested to participate, please register: https://forms.gle/NNNE9oVyv7XLuZgQ6
