Dear TUSKER Families,

Due to an increase in the number of COVID-19 cases reported amongst our community in recent days, we kindly request you to provide a Covid 19 Test Result on Monday, May 8^th for your student(s). Please test your child on Sunday night or Monday morning before your arrival at school, and kindly bring the test kit result with you when you drop your child off on Monday.

Parent Workshop Series: Expert Talk Episode 3 "How to Handle Bullying"

Dear Families,

You are invited for the Expert Talk Episode 3 "How to Handle Bullying" in the Black Box Theater, on Friday 12^th May from 8:30 -10:0o am. The expert talk will be conducted in Thai language. A translator and translation receiving devices will be provided.

Dear BISB Community,

We are thrilled to announce our upcoming Art Exhibition, showcasing the incredible creative talents of our Primary and Middle School artists! Join us on Friday, June 2nd from 4 pm to 6 pm in the Canteen for an immersive art experience you won’t forget!

Our Art Exhibition will feature a wide variety of artwork created by our students, including paintings, drawings, sculptures, and mixed media pieces from throughout the school year. In addition to viewing the artwork, you can participate in interactive art activities, peruse student artist showcases, join student-led art workshops, and enjoy musical accompaniment, making it an event you won't want to miss. Don't forget to bring your family and friends along too!

Notes from the Library

Harry Potter Day was a fantastic success and it was so wonderful to see students of all ages, and families, dressed in costumes and participating broom racing, potion making, games, and crafts.

Next week, on Tuesday May 9^th, please join us in the BISB Library as we celebrate Peter Pan Day with a film, shadow drawings, and arts and crafts. Students can come to the library from 11:30 – 12:30, as well as after school 3:35 – 4:30. Parents are welcome to join for the after-school activities.

Costumes, or wearing the color green, are encouraged but not required.

Announcing BASIS Football Festival 2023 - Ma7 27, 2023

Dear Tuskers Families,

We are excited to announce that we will be hosting the annual BASIS Football Festival 2023. Our primary objective is to promote sportsmanship, teamwork and encourage children to embrace the essence of football.

We cordially invite your child who is in U11 team, both boys and girls, to participate in the practice sessions with our football academy. The tournament will take place on Saturday, May 27^th 2023, at BASIS International School Bangkok.

We are pleased to share the exciting news that seven international schools in Thailand, namely King’s College International School Bangkok, Harrow International School Bangkok, Wellington College International School Bangkok, St. Andrews International School Sathorn, Heathfield International School, Brighton College International School Bangkok and Australian International School Bangkok will be participating in this friendly tournament.

We encourage your child to participate in this memorable event and continue their football practices with Coach Kyle. For more information, please feel free to send an email to communication@basis.ac.th.

Goldilocks and the Three Bears - for Nursery and Pre-K

Once upon a time there was a little girl whose hair was so long and golden that everyone called her ‘Goldilocks’

Come travel with us into the forest to meet the Three Bears and see what Goldilocks gets up to as she knocks on their door.

With storytelling, song, instruments and acting, students will tell the tale of Goldilocks and the Three Bears.

Parents, families and classes are welcome to attend.
