Fundraising Project by Class 6Fe
"Your donations can help connect communities to clean water for drinking, washing, and farming! "
Upon finishing their novel, “A Long Walk to Water,” the students in 6Fe English were feeling inspired to find ways to help. Did you know almost 2 billion people around the world live in water-stressed areas or must walk long distances to get it?
The students of 6Fe want to help connect people in South Sudan to the resources they need for restoring old wells and digging new wells in their communities. The Iron Giraffe Challenge was founded in 2014 as a way for schools to fundraise while reading the novel based on Salva Dut’s real life. He is the founder of Water for South Sudan Inc. and the Iron Giraffe Challenge.
Help by donating electronically to secure.waterforsouthsudan.org/goto/basisbangkok, or, bring your cash donations to the school and place them in the donation box in the cafe. Any amount helps! Thank you for your generosity.
