Note from the Director of Student Affairs
Dear Parents,
Please refrain from sending snacks to school with your children. Unfortunately, we have some students with severe allergies to nuts, as well as other food items. We wish to avoid the possibility of these children inadvertently coming into harm's way through food brought from outside the school.
Should you wish to bring a special snack to the school for your child to share with their class, please bring it to the front desk with a list of ingredients used to produce it. Miss Pim will be happy to receive the treat and direct it to the appropriate class.
As safety is always a concern for us, I'm sure you understand why your cooperation is of utmost importance.
Thank you for your support!
Sincerely,
Ms. Ruth
The "Giving Tree" Project
Dear Families
As Christmas is nearly upon us, we are teaching our students about the importance of gratitude, appreciation, and kindness to others in and around our community. Therefore, BASIS International School Bangkok will join The 'Foundation for Children' in a Christmas project called 'The Giving Tree.' This project seeks to donate gifts to less fortunate children in our community, so we can share the joy of Christmas and teach our students about the importance of charity and kindness. The foundation has asked for new gifts only, due to Covid-related protocols. If you would like to donate a gift to the 'Foundation for Children' please follow the instructions on the leaflet for more information on how to submit your gift. All donations are welcome. Thank you so much for your assistance.
If you have further enquiries, please contact school staff at +662 415 0099 or line official at @bisb
Christmas Season Concerts
Dear Parents,
The Christmas season is upon us, and we invite you to come and watch our children's winter performances.
Each class will perform in the Black Box at the date and time indicated in the poster for that grade. Hence, please do look carefully and make a note of the details on the poster for your babe's class! Please find the below the posters with details.
Please note: The teachers will be instructing the students on what to wear for the performance days - this will arrive in a separate email. Kindly pack either these clothes for your child to change into on the relevant day or make sure they come to school in the required outfit. To help with vocal projection and breathing technique while on the stage, students are required not to wear a mask for the performance.
We would be overjoyed to see you at the relevant performance!
Kind Regards,
Mr. Jason and Ms. Olivia
