Announcing the BASIS Basketball Academy

Dear Parents,

We are happy to announce the start of our Basketball academy at BASIS!  There will be one team this year, beginning with our grade 5 – 8 students.

Basketball team members will practice one day per week on Thursday mornings at 7:00 AM. Students are expected to be in the BASIS school gym to train promptly at 7:00 AM. Our school is working towards hosting friendly competitions with other schools throughout the year.

If your child is interested in trying out for the team, please let the school know via our official LINE @bisb and email our Athletic Director, Coach Daniel Sinaguglia, at d.sinaguglia@basis.ac.th. The coach will then reach out with more information prior to the first tryout.

Regards,
Daniel Sinaguglia
PE Teacher & Athletic Director

Middle School Announcements

It was lovely to see you briefly at the G6 & G7 Coffee Morning earlier today.

From 1st November, we would like to improve the communication and use of the student CJ. The diagram below shows the CJ communication cycle. You play a crucial role in helping to support your child's learning and the CJ is one of the best ways you can see what they are learning and what homework they have from their classes each day. Please can you check and sign your child's CJ on the Fridays (or the last day of school each week if Friday is a holiday). Look out for teacher notes and comments too and please respond to any directly in the CJ or by email. The CJ will be checked every lesson by the class teacher and by AE teachers on the first day of school each week to help students keep organized and on top of their learning.

Thank you for your support and enjoy the long weekend.
