BISB Weekly Update - May 6th, 2022
Message from the Head of School
Dear Families!
Starting from Monday – we will only require one ATK test per week. This should be undertaken on Sunday evening and brought into school the following day.
Regardless of Covid protocols being relaxed – please do ensure you inform us if your household has a person with Covid, or there are other circumstances that may pose a risk to cross-infection within school. Let’s try to ensure that we do not have to send classes home unnecessarily!
When collecting children from school, please do drive safely on the school premises. Never do anything that compromises the safety of our babes!
Grade 3-7 – see the information about impending music recitals, and ensure you book your tickets to attend as soon as possible to avoid disappointment!
Coffee Morning, 11th May – this is directed toward grades 1-4 parents. The session will be delivered by a child development expert. Again, please ensure you sign up if you would like to attend.
Grades 6 and 7 – please read the email regarding the sessions we have organized for girls and boys in these grades that will talk about relationships and growing up. If you wish your child to attend please do let us formally know, and also be sure to tell your child that you have said they should attend!
“The best inheritance parents give children is the time they afford to them each day.” – O. A. Battista.
Change to ATK Testing Policy
Beginning next week, we will reduce the ATK testing requirement from twice to once a week, to be taken on Sunday night and brought to school Monday morning. We are happy to report that in the 2nd week after returning from Songkran break, there were no covid cases in the school - thus the alteration to the protocol. However, do rest assured that the school is following the health authority guidelines consistently.
