Message from the School:
Dear Parents,
We are excited to welcome everyone back on campus this Wednesday, August 13, 2025!
As we begin the new school year, we kindly ask for your patience during the first few weeks as our students adjust to their routines, reconnect with friends, and get to know their teachers.
We have many exciting activities coming up, including tryouts and sign-ups for our Sports Academy, ECAs, Music Academy, and Robotic VEX Academy. You can expect more updates and information to be shared in the coming days. Your support in keeping up with our newsletters and emails will help ensure a smooth start for everyone.
We look forward to another wonderful year of learning and growth!
ACE Student System Updates – New Feature Launch
Thank you for your continued support as we transition to the ACE Student system, which will soon replace SchoolZine as our main communication platform alongside email.
As a reminder, parents who have not yet completed the initial setup are kindly asked to follow these three steps:
- Reset your account password.
- Log in and update your profile’s address information (for each student).
- Approve all three pending consent forms.
We are excited to introduce our first new feature on ACE Student: Report Student Absence.
From now on, if your child will be absent, please use this feature to submit your request in advance. This will help us ensure accurate attendance records and prompt communication.

We have prepared a guide that includes the initial setup steps and instructions for using the new Report Student Absence feature. Please click the link below to view the full guide:
Should you require assistance, an ACE Student Help Desk will be available at the Reception Area from August 13 to August 22, between 7:30–8:30 AM and 3:30–4:30 PM.
More helpful features will be launched in the coming weeks, stay tuned!
Thank you for your cooperation as we continue improving our communication and service to our families.
Sincerely,
BASIS International School Bangkok

Message from Director of Early Years
Dear Early Years Parents,
I am excited to see you all on Wednesday for our first day of school!
It was lovely to see so many of you at B.O.S.S. Camp and for your children to explore their new classrooms and meet their teachers. If you were unable to attend, we’re sorry to have missed you! You’ll have another opportunity at Meet the Teacher Night for Early Years on Thursday, August 21. This evening will be a chance to meet your child’s teacher, see the classroom, and learn more about their specific syllabus and learning outcomes. More details will be coming soon, but please mark your calendars now.
We are thrilled to announce two new classrooms this year: Kindergarten Aluminum (KAl) and PK2 Sulfur (PK2S). This expansion allows us to welcome more students into BASIS while easing our Early Years waiting list. As always, our classrooms are named after elements from the Periodic Table of Elements—a fun and fitting tradition that connects science and curiosity right from the start!

In preparation for our first days I also want to remind you that our Early Years day begins with Circle Time at 8:25 a.m. Please arrive early enough so your child can join in from the start—this helps them feel included, connected, and ready for a great day of learning.
I’m looking forward to an amazing school year together!
Sincerely,
Ms. Annie
Director of Early Years

If your child is unwell or shows any of these symptoms, please keep them at home and consult a medical professional. This will help us maintain a safe and healthy environment for all our students.
