Message from the Head of School:

Dear BASIS Families,

I hope that this message finds you all well and that you are enjoying a well-deserved break. Whether you're traveling, spending time with loved ones, or simply relaxing at home, I trust it's been a time of joy and renewal.

As we look ahead, I want to share how excited we are for the upcoming Academic Year. Our team has been working diligently behind the scenes to ensure everything is in place for a strong start. All staff will be participating in the BASIS Summer Institute training program, followed by our own specialized two-week INSET training, so we’re fully equipped to support our students in every way possible.

We’re also looking forward to welcoming parents to our mandatory B.O.S.S. Camp on Friday, August 8, 2025, where we’ll share important updates on school regulations and expectations. Your partnership is vital, and we’re grateful for your continued support.

B.O.S.S. Camp Schedule – Friday, August 8, 2025

• New Students (All Grades): 8:45 AM – 12:30 PM
• Returning Students (All Grades): 1:30 PM – 4:00 PM

One of the highlights from last Academic Year was our High School students’ outstanding performance in the AP exams. These results are more than just numbers, they’re a reflection of the hard work, dedication, and care that define our school community. They affirm that we’re on the right path, and they inspire us to keep building on this success.

With all this momentum, we’re confident that the new Academic Year will be another remarkable chapter. We can’t wait to welcome our students back on Wednesday, August 13, 2025 and begin this journey together.

Enhancing our facilities over the holiday

During the holiday, our team has been working hard on various ongoing facility improvements to ensure a better, safer, and more comfortable environment for our students.

We are excited to share the updates:

• Construction of the new 3rd floor of our Academic Building, which will be ready when school reopens, is underway. This floor will include 10 rooms, featuring both classrooms and a multipurpose room, to provide additional learning spaces that support our growing community and a wider range of activities.

• For our Early Years students, an additional shading area is being installed, and the wooden deck floor at the outdoor playground is being renovated. These upgrades will enhance safety and comfort, allowing our youngest learners to enjoy outdoor playtime throughout the day.

• Our football field is also undergoing its routine renovation, which we carry out twice a year, to maintain the quality and safety of the playing surface for our students’ training and matches.

• New gym wall pad protection has been installed to increase safety for all students during PE lessons and sports activities.

• An additional Garden Shade area next to our cafeteria is being added to more comfortable space for our community.

• Additional school outdoor parking with 100 lots will be available just opposite the school, providing greater convenience for families.

We look forward to welcoming our students back to campus to enjoy these improvements as they are completed.
