Our Week in Pictures!
Message from the Head of School
Dear All! Hope you enjoy the long weekend – and I am bringing a few things to your attention:
This has been a challenging week with regard to quarantining in the school. We have seen three classes being forced to stay at home. I realise this dratted virus is incredibly tenacious – but, please do keep risks outside school to a minimum as we desperately want to maintain normality for children in the school!
Next Friday is Superhero Day – superheroes come in many guises! We really want to have a fun and memorable day!
There will be a coffee morning for Early Years with an emphasis on discussing Early Child Development Thursday 24th March at 08.30 -10.00 o’clock– please register with us at Line Official: @bisb by Monday 21th March as seats are limited courtesy of the necessity to socially distance.
I write this prose as we prepare for another awards day. Please do ensure you are positive with your babe irrespective of how many certificates they receive. Their academic battle is, in actuality, with themselves – ALL our children have the potential to become wonderful and worthy citizens! So important to perpetually encourage the positives!
Over the last months I have written to a number of families regarding any concerns we may have for particular children. It is so important that we let moms and dads know our observations earlier than later – and please know, we invariably suggest that the services of a child development expert are sought, and that person can guide us as to effectively help children. I sincerely hope that this practice is within all good schools, as it reflects an essential level of care – whilst the earlier we appreciate and can undertake necessary interventions, the more effective they are likely to be. I wish to reiterate, this matter is about both our care and responsibility toward our children - as we want the best for them.
Enjoy the looooong weekend, Alan.
Important Reminder: Re-Enrollment for the 2022-2023 Academic Year
It's time for enrollment for the 2022-2023 academic year! Re-enrollment forms can be found at this link, and are due back on Friday 25th March 2022. Invoices will be sent home beginning on Friday, 1st April and payment of the deposit is due by Friday, 29th April. The deposit will be applied to the first semester's tuition fees.
If you pre-paid 2022-2023 tuition fees, you will NOT need to submit the form. Please be sure to submit your Re-Enrollment online, as we are unable to hold a space for your child without it, and we look forward to your return!
Community Health Reminder
Please do make sure to check your child's temperature while at home before leaving for school. This is an important step toward keeping our community safe and healthy. Thank you for your kind cooperation!
