Message from Head of School & Head of Operations:
Dear TUSKERS families,
Last Sunday, we hosted our first International Science Olympiad (ISO) on campus. Well done to all our students for participating in this global academic competition. We will keep everyone posted for the result!
Thank you to our Grade 5 parents for attending the Coffee Morning Session on the topic of “Grade 5 Transition.” We hope this session is useful in guiding parents on how to support students as they transiting to Middle School next academic year.
We ended the week with an amazing Primary School Drama show, the “Sir TUSKERS’s Dreamtacular Circus!” Our students dedicated hours in rehearsing for this performance. Their passion and talent had made us proud! We extend our heartfelt thanks to all the parents for encouraging our young performers and to our dedicated teachers and school staff for their incredible support behind the scenes.
Finally, a gentle reminder about the U9-U15 Boys and Girls Swim Meet at Singapore International School of Bangkok (SISB) The competition will take place on Saturday, June 1st, 2024, from 7:30 A.M. to 4:30 P.M. Join us in cheering on our young swimmers!
Please stay safe and we hope everyone enjoy a good long weekend! Take care.
Best regards,
Dr. W and Ms. Kwan

Early Years Newsletter
Hello Early Years Families,
As I begin to take stock of this school year, I am very pleased with the growth in our Early Years Program. Our students are showing tremendous progress in their ability to speak in English. Some launch into detailed monologues that rival those I would hear at a school in America from a young child. Others are bravely trying out new words and attempting to put them into phrases and sentences. Most of all, I see happy children who are trying their best. I look forward to seeing you at our end-of-the-year activities, including the Peek-A-Boo Showcase. Note the poster below for details.
Ms. Annie Fletcher
Director of Early Years

Primary, Middle & High School Newsletter
Dear Parents,
It has been brought to our attention recently that students are using social media (Line, Instagram, etc.) to communicate online. Please be sure that students are using appropriate language and following TUSKERs characteristics while speaking to each other online. Parent supervision is recommended to ensure online safety.
Much appreciated,
Dean Selby

Library Corner:
Hello from BISB Library!
The end of the academic year is just around the corner and it’s time for BISB’s Library books to come back to the library.
Book return week begins next week, June 4th to the following Monday, June 10th for all grade levels. This also includes books checked out to our BISB parents. Books can be returned directly to the Library, to Ms. Erika, or to our lovely reception team.
Any books not returned by Monday, June 10th will be marked as LOST and will have to be paid for so we can order a replacement, as per our school’s book return policy.
Can students check out library books for over the summer holiday?
YES, we want to keep our TUSKERS reading over the break! That is why parents, and students in Grades 4 & up, can begin summer reading checkout after school on Thursday, June 20th. This means G.4 and up students can check out up to 4 books to keep until we return back to school in August, or they can be exchanged over the summer holiday, during summer library hours (schedule to be announced soon). BISB parents can check out up to 6 books for students of all age levels.
Also, be sure to check out any future newsletters, as I will offer some summer reading lists, online tools, and reading challenges for students in varying grade levels!
Lastly, please note the library will be CLOSED on the following days:
Friday, June 14th – Sports Day
Monday June 16th to Friday, June 21st – Project week*
*Library will be open AFTER SCHOOL ONLY on Thursday, June 20th for summer reading checkout
